Personal Care Supports may include a range of human assistance provided to persons with disabilities and chronic conditions of all ages, enabling them to accomplish tasks they would normally do for themselves if they did not have a disability. Thus, personal care often concerns hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as eating, bathing, dressing, and bladder and bowel requirements. Or, activities of daily living (ADLs) such as taking medications and shopping for groceries.
